I had been getting relaxers since I was 11. But somehow i knew i was missing something. now not right at the moment when i was that young but as i got older i would want to do different thinsg with my hair and couldnt. i remember one time i was about 13 or 14 and a friend of mine who had course hair was rocking the Lauryn Hill curly top do( you know the one where she braided it and took the braids out) anyway it made me want my natural curls back so bad at that point. I went to the basin in the basment and tried to wash my relaxed hair straight...LOL!!! that was a joke. i wish i had pictures from then but i dont all i have is pics from my recent color and relaxed locs...
